The Book contains Bishop Tom’s translation from Luke for Everyone but with a completely new (shorter) accompanying text which provides people with specific things to think about. The whole of Luke can be read during Lent but for those who prefer something shorter there is a highlighted passage for each day on which Bishop Tom’s reflection is based. The Saturday reading is the Lectionary Gospel reading for the following day.
Lent for Everyone available in Braille and Giant Print
The ‘Big Read’ book ‘Lent for Everyone’ is being made available in Braille and Giant Print which will enable many people who cannot access normal print to take part in the ‘Big Read.’ These books are priced at the same price as a print copy, £6.99, although the actual transcription costs are considerably more. The work has been done by the Torch Trust and orders for these materials should be made directly to Torch. If anyone feels able to contribute more than the stated cost it will help Torch recover some of their expenses.
